Saravana Bhavan - Table reservation

I ordered the business meal as the South Indian meal was not available. my son and my men's meal came before, I had nothing to do with it, but my meal took sometime, I asked where is my meal, and the guy said the cook still does it. when it arrived, it looked good, but had a strange smell, but nothing out-puttin, but the taste was a little out, and finally I came with a bauchece, even when I wrote this review, I still complicate. that is not a bad place, only that I ordered the wrong food and wanted to share my experience, my man has the same problem, but my son has avoided eating and does well. total it was 39,99 €

Almost any Indian restaurant I have been to (which serve meat) can make dishes without butter and use just oil but not this chain vegetarian restaurant which is a big shame. I asked if they can make dishes vegan when entering the place and they had to confirm what this actually means. I love a good healthy curry but the food was too rich for me. On a positive note though the left-over I ate the following evening was still nice (and actually easier to eat).

Only round the corner from the station but parking is limited. Restaurant nicely decorated and food is amazing. Service is good when they are not overbooked. Friendly staff and generally clean. Caters well for Jain and Vegetarian.

all dishes here are vegetarian, but most are not vegan. if they are a strictly vegan, I would recommend not come into this restaurant because they do not say which dishes are suitable for vegans.

for a few years we have been here and had no problems ordering vegan food. dhosas are delicious. they also offer a lot of Jain dishes. refilling chutneys and dal, if necessary. yum.
