I visited Sarku Japan about a week ago and ordered a large family dinner. I was very impressed with the cashier, who was attentive and responsive throughout our experience. Even though we made several modifications to our order, she quickly understood and confirmed the details multiple times to ensure everything was correct. The service was efficient, and our food arrived promptly and accurate. The meal was delicious from beginning to end. I appreciated the cozy, tucked-away atmosphere of the restaurant and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend this place!
FOUND HAIR in my food!!!!! I always come here and the food is outstanding very good quality, good tasting nice people but THIS time I bought a bento box and found hair in it and I went inside confronted them literally not even a minute after buying theBento Box, they didn?t apologize just silently gave me a refund and told me to never come back. Absolutely disgusting, anddisrespectful just money hungry people not a care about quality. NEVER AGAIN!
**Food:** The teriyaki is delicious and comes with white rice (which you can swap for noodles), steamed vegetables (broccoli, cabbage, and carrots), and a choice of protein. The sauce is conveniently provided in a separate container attached to the box lid for easy pouring.
**Atmosphere:** I don't have any complaints about the restaurant itself.
**Verdict:** A fantastic value, especially in NYC, for a satisfying meal that truly fills you up.
I was disappointed with the service at Sarku Japan. They gave me an expired stamp card and only rejected it right before I could earn a free meal. It seemed like they knew it was expired but didn't tell me earlier. From now on, I'll be going to another teriyaki place in the mall that is cheaper than Sarku. Although Sarku has shorter lines and more seating, I now understand why it’s often so empty.

The Shrimp Bento Box was delightful, with everything freshly prepared and served piping hot. The sushi was fresh, and the dumplings were perfectly crispy. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience that I would definitely recommend.
Much better than Teriyaki One across the parking lot. Fresh ingredients. Bang for your buck prices. More sit down dining room than T1. Doesn't price gouge for cups of sauce.
I have ate way better Japan food the food was ok. I wouldn?t eat there agin and the inside was so eye appealing
