Mind. Blown. These ladies are in the kitchen killing it! Itâs the first time weâve ever seen a kitchen full of women. I learned they locally source as much as possible the taste is proof for sure. The quality flavor of all the food is extraordinary. If you go, definitely try the cheese salumi plate and the short rib osso bucco. Ask for a extra side of the grilled spring onions so you have more to go w/each bite of the polenta. Finish with the upside down pineapple dessert while sipping on a Lavender Espresso Martini or their espresso doppio. My better half felt their espresso was the best heâs had in the states, tasting very authentic to what youâdfind in Italy where he lived for yrs...
The food and ambiance seemed promising, but our reservation for a standard table resulted in being seated at a high top. The drinks and food arrived very quickly, perhaps too quickly. Unfortunately, the food appeared good but lacked flavor and consistency in temperature. Some parts were overcooked, while others seemed freshly prepared. Interestingly, items like pasta looked pre-made and were sticky and clumped together at room temperature. Overall, the meal was disappointing, not even comparable to leftovers from a cheaper restaurant. Additionally, the bathroom lacked basic amenities like toilet paper or paper towels, surprising for a Saturday night.
My family and I went to dinner tonight and the service was excellent. The staff's suggestions for wine were perfect. The ragu and burrata were particularly tasty. When the brown butter cake was placed on the table for dessert, I could smell it right away and it tasted amazing. We also tried the limoncello cake and enjoyed it, as they make their limoncello in-house and you could taste it in the dessert. The coffee was also of high quality. Overall, we had a fantastic meal and are looking forward to returning!
I came to Sarto to celebrate my birthday. The restaurant is very âInstagramâ friendly where you can take lovely pictures around the place. Food was great loved the appetizers and the wine. The cocktails are too strong, but I generally prefer cocktails that hide the taste of alcohol. My other guests loved their drinks though. The best dishes of the night, in my opinion, are the smoked mussel caccio de Pepe and mussels fra diavlo.

Drink and 1 app was good. The rest of the food was subpar. The service was ok at best. Server sort of argued about us not liking the Brussel sprouts (which were shredded to look more like cabbage). We so wanted this to be good but when you are this close to Federal Hill you have to be on point with Italian food. This place is struggling with what they are actually trying to say with their strange spin on classic dishes.
The chicken was undercooked and the skin was not crispy. The bartender was unable to make the drink I asked for (a quick Google search could have helped with that). The salumi plate appeared to be lacking in portion size. The overall quality of the food was not as good as when the restaurant first opened in 2018. However, the lemoncello cake was the standout dish of the night.
The service was very poor and very slow. We waited forever to be served and when we finally ordered drinks it took, again, FOREVER to get them. My food was cold and the mussels were dry and had no taste.No one in my party would recommend this restaurant. Also the noise level was over board. We could hardly hear each other speaking and we were at the same table!
Beautiful restaurant. The waitress was very good and recommend dishes. The specials were good. The salmon was delicious.Love the coolBar. Need someStep lighting for upstairs bathroom-it’s an accident waiting to happen. But all in all a great experience.
