with the cable car up, a world you don't know from below, you're up. the first time, it sits sasmalt. who is set for recovery and relaxation experiences a relaxed, friendly atmosphere full of pleasure. the rooms are simple and practical, everything is there. the house is ring-hearted, who comes from a walk will still sleep quickly and well. the night is authentic and great. the breakfast – not the usual buffet, but all personally served at the table – exceeds expectations. daniela and icaro are cordial hosts who understand to create an independent mood to feel comfortable. happy again!
My family and me have been at Sass Malt several times, the location is wonderful, the environment as well. It would be a perfect place to enjoy a local wine or a traditional dish surrounded by the Alps. Unfortunately we had to face the terrible organization of the personnel and the arrogance of the restaurant manager: typically long waiting time, strange rules (like "you cannot sit outside because it's already prepared for the lunch time..." at 10 AM) and in particular he cannot suffer children. A real pity!
we returned to sassmalt because the place is lovely and to reach it with the cable car is really special. the reception is professional, precise but familiar. we started with a great port-based cocktail. then vegetable salad, homemade dumplings with an original curry sauce and to finish a tryout of homemade cakes. A dream!
very friendly service, good eating with beautiful view of the blenio valley.Without background music the rest on the alp can be enjoyed.
