By far the best cuisine I have ever had! Satay House has set the new standard when it comes to dining out, and have shown the beauty of Malaysian dishes. Our waiter who worked the Monday 1st April shift on the upstairs floor, around 7pm was very kind, tentative, and cheerful. I should also mention that the food was halal, and that they catered to those who were fasting with dates, and priority service! Unfortunately I have forgotten his name, but he was an amazing member of the team. I hope to come dining here again in the near future, and try out more of Satay Houses dishes.
The food is always very good when we visit this restaurant, however the portion sizes have reduced overtime and pricing has increased. The most recent menu has changed, but the starters were disinteresting. One of our favourites is no longer available 'begedil ' which is a beef patty. They also offered biriyani rice which was amazing but no longer available. There Nasi rice options are still very good though. Still a good place to visit if you are in the area. In comparison to other Malaysian restaurants, its one of the best!!
We were staying near this restaurant and were interested in Malaysian food. We didn't make a reservation because we didn't know we had to. The lady told us that we can't do without her. We apologized and left. The man from the bar ran out to us and said that if you could eat within an hour, he would free up a chair for us. We said if they could cook it within an hour : and we really enjoyed it. Food great, environment too. Definitely give it a try, just make a reservation. Thank you very much and we recommend it.
Fabulous food! I got the Kari Laksa (spicy soup) , husband got the Bee Hoon Goreng (vermicelli noodle dish). Both were sooo good! Be warned, food tends to be spicy, with no mention of spice level on the menu, so if you’re not a fan of heat (we are), ask before you order and see if they can adjust it. Restaurant’s on the small side and they had steady customers on a Wednesday night…quite noisy, but worth it for the food!

I am impressed by the high quality and delicious taste of the food at this restaurant. If you are looking for the best Malaysian cuisine, I think this is the place to visit. My favorite dish was the Satay, the combination of the sauce and grilled chicken was perfect.
We organised a 28 person office lunch party, and Jermaine was great in helping us out throughout the whole process. Satay House did not disappoint! Very spacious private room downstairs, wonderful service, and delicious food! We will definitely be coming back.
Such a lovely restaurant tucked away from the busy main road. Service was incredible and the food was delicious! The waiter asked about spice levels and was great at suggesting items to order. All in all a lovely lunch dining experience!
Very good food and excellent service. We had nasi goreng and udang kunyit. Both was very good. Friendly staff and nice location.
