The experience we had at this restaurant was very uncomfortable, and it was clear that we weren't welcomed. As a bi-racial couple, we were excited to try something new, but right from the moment we entered, we felt ignored. When we finally sat down, the waitress didn't make any eye contact and abruptly asked us what we wanted. Throughout our meal, no one checked in on us to see if we needed more water, soda, or anything else. The utensils were carelessly tossed onto the table, and before we had even finished our food, one of the waitresses rushed over to remove our plates, seemingly eager for us to leave. It was particularly disheartening to see other diners, who were finished, still sitting...

In my opinion they got the best Hainanese chicken over rice. As you guys realize now a days when you pay with credit card at a restaurant they charge you that extra 3% for credit card payment fee. Unless you pay cash then it is a flat amount of courseplus tax. So why should customers have to pay that credit card processing fee when y?all the business that have credit cardpayment as an option and have an agreement to pay that fee. That?s my only issue. Other than that the food is good. Service isokay. They will fullfilll most of the requests.

I visited during lunchtime and found the meal pretty satisfying. My total was $40, including tips, which is a bit higher than what I'd normally pay in the area. Everything tasted delicious, although the sauce for the roti canai was served at room temperature; it didn’t bother me, but it might be an issue for some. The serving size for the Hainan chicken was generous, though nearly half of it was mostly bones. Overall, I would definitely return for the Hainan chicken over rice to take out, but I think I’ll skip dining in next time.

As a Malaysian, I found the food to be decent. However, the customer service leaves much to be desired. The person at the counter seemed unhappy when I opted to pay with a card instead of cash, even though my total was less than $15. Overall, the food is reasonably priced, but it feels like they judge customers based on how much they spend. I won't be returning for a second visit. Book a table now

They offer shaved ice all year round! We tried the curry beef noodles and the slipper egg over rice with beef, and both dishes were outstanding. The curry was flavorful with just the right amount of spice, while the egg and beef rice was fantastic. Both meals arrived just minutes after we ordered. Plus, the prices are very reasonable.

The satay and roti were enjoyable considering their price. However, the standout dish was definitely the Hainan chicken. It was juicy and had a wonderfully clean flavor. I highly recommend trying it if you're in Flushing!

The food here is fantastic! Dishes arrive quickly, and there’s usually no wait. The waitstaff may not be particularly friendly, but that’s pretty typical in many Chinese restaurants.

Food are good and price is reasonable. Almost full house on a weekday. Indian bread and Buddhist delight and Hainanese chicken are my favorites.
