Food here is amazing, this will be one of our new favorite spots. The birria queso tacos are super tasty, the grilled shrimp really good, and the elote and chips so good as well. Not to mention the sides, the mexican rice here is uniquely cilantro green and incredibly delicious. Our toddler who usually hates eating still ended up eating a lot more than usual. The smoke show cocktail was a little sweet for me but my wife’s skinny marg came out on point.
This restaurant is an excellent spot for delicious tacos that truly hit the mark. Be sure to visit during happy hour to sample their tostadas and enjoy some beer. Although the tostadas are on the smaller side, they are quite tasty. The chips and salsa could easily serve as a meal on their own. Instead of regular chips, they offer large, tostada-like chips that are fantastic.
Great Mexican restaurant in El Segundo. Atmosphere is lively with great music. Food is ready good, from appetizers to all the other dishes. Specials are great, I had a paella and it was really good. Their margaritas are amazing. Service is super good and attentive. Very welcoming and pleasant. They now have a happy hour 4-6 pm with tasty small bites and great drinks.
Sausal is a gem in El Segundo. Amazing menu, fantastic cocktails (have the Smoke Show nobody can have just five). Mezcal is the house specialty (ask for Sal de Gusano on a cucumber slice) ask Rene behind the bar for his reccos. Favorites are the Pork Carnitas, the Lamb Barbacoa Enchiladas...absolutely amazing food, service, drinks...do not miss this place! Book a table now
Love the atmosphere, good prices and HAPPY HOUR DRINKS : Yess!!! Keep them margaritas coming with the steak tostadas. The birria was really good. No complaints. Local for me and a very nice spot.
The arroz con pollo is very satiating. It could maybe use some spice but I have no legitimate complaints. They don't skimp in the portions either
Been here a few times for dinner and margaritas. The bar is nice. Great trendy casual place with a great menu. I will def be back!
