A true rural gem, surprising for the level of technique expressed in cooking and pastry making. Local ingredients combined with herbs and fruit from around the world, all grown in their own garden. Our host, Pierre, was amazing in walking us through each course, introducing us to the unusual herbs and fruits used in the dishes (picking them from the garden and bringing them to the table! . It was a fascinating way to discover the richness of the local cuisine. After lunch, he guided us on an exciting visit to the vegetable garden, where we were able to see herbs, fruit and roots of all types and origins up close. Wide selection of wines and expertise in presenting them and making them known....
