We came to an early evening dinner without the kids and really enjoyed sitting outside in the tent. The service was correct, attentive, but not overlaid and our waiter had great suggestions. We had the fried Calamari, which was light and tasty with a wonderful marinara sauce on the side. We also had a fig with blue cheese salad from the specials, which was a great combination of flavors. For the net, my wife really enjoyed the bay of Scallops dinner while I had a large double veal with a large mushroom sauce. Both dinners had the same mash and green beans side. Desserts were also well executed, with the lemonecello cake was the stand out. I'll be back soon and probably bring the kids.
What a fabulous and comfortable place to have a nice dinner! My partner surprised me here for my birthday. It is exceptionally comfortable with excellent, attentive service. We didn't get drinks, but the food was excellent. The tortellini of my partner was top notch, like my seafood linguine that came from the special menu. The Pasta e fagioli soup was one of the best I ever had, but be warned that it fills and I would have left more room for the rest of the meal.
My husband and daughter and I enjoy the food in Savini. The host is a hospitable man on the phone and personally. The servers are friendly and informative. I liked the layers of different servers that come to the tables for various reasons. As always, the food is delicious and delicious from the appetizers to the desserts. Want a lot back and try other selections from the menu. Someone will give me a gift certificate to Savini.
We went as a party of 6 for lunch before opera in NYC. Style is formal Italian.Service was first class professional. Ambiance is first class. Food is top shelf delicious. People that I would take here will leave impressed. Savini is worth more than 5 stars!
