My family of four visited this restaurant after a show on Sunday. My 16-year-old and 11-year-old are used to dining in upscale establishments, so they are not considered "little kids."
The overall atmosphere was underwhelming and not suitable for families. Upon entering, we noticed a strange odor resembling old beer and mustiness. The host was seated at the bar. We were seated without silverware and had to request cocktail napkins, which were never brought to us. The wait staff did their job but provided no extra attention, only checking on us when we were almost finished. It's a shame because they could have upsold my husband another cocktail.

The Savoy Tap room is a beautiful and comfortable jewel. The staff is very friendly and playful. The vibe is a kind of throw back on older days, in which the decor is dark wood, while the space is aptly illuminated and cozy. The food is very good and they offer enough options to satisfy any appetite. Mixology is definitely practiced here and they leave a decent selection of adult drinks imbibe. If you do not have yourself for the comfortable and delicious experience there!
Food was excellent. Went there before the Springsteen concert. They were full as anticipated. But that was the whole point. The food and atmosphere were great. The service was very slow and made us late. They kept saying they were busy for the concert but that was the entire point. So would go back when not rushed. Good food. But we had to rush so couldn’t enjoy it.
We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant thanks to our server, Keith, who provided excellent service and recommendations. Our group of four ordered a classic burger, two chicken sandwiches, and the short rib risotto, all of which were delicious. We would definitely dine here again if we find ourselves in the Albany area.

Had a wonderful time taking a first date to savoy taproom. Lively enough to be fun but still able to carry out a conversation. Drinks here never disappoint. Didn’t order food but I’ve never had a bad meal here. Service was exceptional and waitstaff friendly and engaging. Highly recommend!
It was our second time at Savoy before a show at Lark Hall and the food was great. Sara, our server was awesome, and we had at both visits was lovely! Will continue to return! The Steak Salad was the best salad I have had in a long time!
eating was excellent! if they are vegan or vegetarian, there are some very good options. we had to wait 20 minutes until open table lost our reservation. but the restaurant gave us a round drink. so good! open table better!
Looks unimpressive but food was good, especially the crispy Brussels sprouts and pitiful puri shrimp. Korean cauliflower had too much sauce and looking at menu on line is a trend that I hope never catches on.

The cocktails were amazing and the service was fantastic. The food was mostly good, but the short rib risotto was exceptional. I would definitely go back again.
Wonderful outdoor dining on back patio! Great variety of pub fare and more. Had fantastic service too. Highly recommended.
