Met hubby back in Glenorchy after I came back from town (Hobart). He was late, ho hum. . . This Malaysian noodle cafe is along from Big W next to Timeout Cafe. Its open till 9pm M-F and 8pm Sat/Sun. Very busy with takeaways, but there were a few of us sitting down for a meal. Nice wooden tables and chairs. Lovely smell wafting throughout as counter runs along wall where they cook. I ordered Teriyaki Udon seafood noodles as they are mild. V.tasty. Luckily the menu has the chilli warning next to items. Hubby ordered Sawak Mee (hot) and nearly died. pleasant lunch in a quiet location on a busy morning. Perhaps a gentle music would have changed the atmosphere when eating?Anyway, I ordered the seafood char kway teow on recommendation of the staff, with vegien, huhn, glazing. nice taste I love glass noodles, but the char taste was very strong, as the saltiness. I would have rated the court a it was kind of like eating Asian street food. my engaged ordered szechuan pork noodle suppe. Verrrry spicy for my taste, although my partner can treat the heat. they enjoyed it and rated it so that I am on a total between the two dishes. a beautiful restaurant with an unfortunate location between big w glenorchy and the village cinema complex removed....
Called in for a quick evening meal before going to the cinema (just over the road). The place was clean and tidy and there is plenty of choice on the menu and prices are very reasonable. Plenty of parking available in shopping centre car parks. Service was quick and the food freshly prepared and was delicious. There is seating for 24 with 6 tables of 4. Take away is also available.
very average experience. ordered a nasi goreng, not authentic at all, frozen peas carrots and corn?? and the cook and the boss were talking over my food when preparing the food for me, not the best hygiene practice. Didnt feel welcomed, didnt get offered water or even cutlery (apparently it 's 'self-serve ' cutlery, but who would know unless you 're a frequent customer)

tasty noodles sushi (I always get the same, either bark-flake or salmon sushi). fast and tasty for lunch with foodie teddy. friendly service. adorable noodles of the same were not very good.
Stopped in for a quick lunch and had the nasi goreng. I found the serving size good and the food was cooked well. Service was quick and efficient and i would return if I was in the area.
Quick friendly service and good fresh ingredients.Meals are lightly seasoned with condiments on the table including crushed chillies so just adjust to your own taste.Competitive pricing.
Always friendly service here and the prices are very reasonable, I find the sushi quite tasty and filling and if it's not available they'll make it up for you.

Has a combo of asian meals - sushi is great. Fried rice is very nice although watch for tofu they like to put it in most meals! Fried noodle is very nice too.
It's so good. The sushi is amazing!!!!!!!!! Super and cheap and affordable!!!! Excellent customer service and the staff are super friendly!
