I love Indian food deeply. When I don't have time to make it at home, Sawan is my go-to. They aren't the closest place to me, but worth a drive to dine in or take out. Super fresh, super nice staff, master-class cuisine. Oh, and great prices to boot. If there is any criticism, it's that when you ask for extra-spicy, it doesn't seem to happen. I can always add extra heat when I get it home, tho! The goat dishes are sublime! Vegetarian options: If you like bhindi (ochre), or anything saag, give them a try.
Excellent food with friendly service. Buffet price on Saturday and Sunday is $15.95 and Tuesday thru Friday is $14.95. Great selection of different dishes from chicken tandoori to goat to Naan. Loved everything that I ate. I didn't get a chance to try their desserts though due to eating too much regular food. Will definitely come back again though.Restaurant was very clean and spacious, which is a plus. They also have a regular menu if you do not want the buffet.
I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The portions were small, the prices were high, and the food tasted stale. I ordered the chicken tikka masala, and it felt like the chicken had been sitting around since the afternoon buffet. To make matters worse, the only cold drink option was water; they don’t have a refrigerator and served warm cans of soda.
We've been to this place a few times and they make some good quality Punjabi food. Service is good too. Chapati is a must try item. I'm so surprised that this place is never fully occupied over weekends even though their food and service is outstanding. I would highly recommend visiting this place.

This is our favorite Indian restaurant for lunch. Their lunch buffet selection may be limited, but what they serve is quite good. Today, we had dinner at Sawan for the first time, and it did not disappoint. We will keep coming back.
It has been always pleasent experience whenever visiting this restaurant. Food is always excellent and specifically their chapati is the best that I have ever tried so far in USA. Would recommend this restaurant.
Chicken tikka masala is like tomato soup. Chicken briyani is dry and missing ingredients. They were once a good restaurant, but now they use cheaper ingredients and terrible style.
Stopped for buffet lunch. Food and service were excellent. Note: food is not spicy so I asked for chili peppers and got them.
