Takeout Review: I always drive by this place, so I decided to check it out finally. Coming from Rhode Island, I love my fresh seafood. The parking lot was spacious and always packed. The restaurant is nautical themed and it's not a fancy place but definitely a homey place. The service was great with ordering and picking up takeout. The prices were a little higher for the dinner options; I understand the situation, due to inflation and fresh seafood is usually more pricey. For starters, I had to try out their thick and creamy New England clam chowder; it was not the best I've ever had but it was a 3.5/5. The last time I was here. I was just a kid if I'm being generous. I'll say 11 years old. I'm now 40 years old and it was exactly how I remembered it friendly staff. Excellent food, delicious. I went and I brought myself a date. She had a fantastic time as well and I would and will absolutely be returning to this establishment. Great job in maintaining a standard of quality. That everybody nowadays now demands and expects. $100 due to ordering drinks.
I recently visited Saybrook Fish House after a day of rafting nearby, and it was the perfect end to the day. The seafood was fresh. The ambiance was casual and inviting. The staff were friendly and attentive, adding to the overall great experience. Highly recommend for anyone in the area looking for quality seafood and a laid-back atmosphere!

The best New England Clam Chowder I have had in a long time. The service was terrific the food was great and the place was extremely clean. A definite ocean atmosphere.
