we visited the restaurant scala, as we had a voucher for a 4-time romantic dinner. We've booked a table for 4 persons to celebrate a wedding day two weeks in advance. The online confirmation was also received. Upon arrival that day at the entrance they said they didn't have a table because of some big group event even though they...saw the confirmation email (where we specifically mentioned the occasion). No apologies, absolutely nothing. They could at least inform us of cancellation in advance. Absolute disaster!
a fantastic view! and a great place to have a 75-year anniversary dinner! the menu had an Asian touch in the local style of thüringen. very well arranged and prepared! we enjoyed the red wine from herrn proppe that originated locally!
