Wir haben das Bistro Schaarschmidt ausprobiert und fanden an dem Abend eine ausgezeichnete Küche und einen freundlichen Service vor. Nach einer freundlichen Begrüßung brachte der Service die Tafel mit den aktuellen Gerichten an den Tisch. Es saß sich sehr angenehm auf der schönen Terrasse. Das Preislevel ist gehoben, aber man findet auch Gerichte fernab vom Standard. Vorab gefielen der Meeresfrüchtesalat (16€ und v.a. die Wachtelbrust auf Belugalinsen mit einem kleinen Stück gebratener Foie Gras (23,50€ . This has become a local favourite of ours as for many others. Schaarschmidt offers a daily changing menu as well as more or less fixed à la carte suggestions and are the same for both lunch and dinner. The fixed price daily menu features an...hors d'ouevre, a choice of entrées usually one fish, one meat and a dessert and is extremely good value. If one of the recommended dishes doesn't please, an à la carte substitute is quickly found and won't break the bank. Wine choices are limited but adequate. Mr. B. Schaarschmidt can cook excellently, but unfortunately is not a good businessman. For this reason he had to close his restaurant Schaarschmidt at Ahr after a failed rescue attempt by Mr. Rosin. After his father's lamentable death, he took over the Bistro Shaarschmidt, which was once led by it. We all hope that Mr Schaarschmidt Junior will be able to pay out his debt and write $500,000 and will not fall deeper into the economic ruins. There is no guarantee that the soup tastes every time. We have long been looking for a recent which serves very good quality fish in Bonn, and you can certainly get that at this restaurant. A little on the pricey side perhaps, but the food quality and service were all excellent in our opinion. We...were in a group of people, and the main courses were all excellent. Some of the recent trip advisor reviews I saw afterwards are not so good, but I have no hesitation in giving this place stars

This is an excellent little bistro in the heart of Plittersdorf, Bonn just around the corner from our home. The standard of food is always excellent and they have a changing menu depending on what is fresh and in season. The staff are friendly. Always like it! Also or just now, I can recommend our favorite-um-the-corner restaurant very warmly: The dishes from the weekly card are delivered or you can pick them up. We had saffronrisotto today with scampiss and fatty acid with mushrooms. Delicious! We are very happy about this offer, although the atmosphere of the restaurant is missing.
Hervorragendes Essen, tolle Weine, flinker und sehr zuvorkommender Service! War bereits mehrfach da und komme immer wieder gerne!
