the place makes itself a top restaurant in bad arolsen, and it is likely. but nothing more. the menu is very limited, which can be an indicator for large things that come. but they didn't. there was a pumpkin soup for me and a clear tomat soup for my firma. both okay, but neither an extraordinary taste. then we took another appetizer than main, the regional, Prussian kingsberg lopse, meatballs of chopmeat. the characteristic taste comes from the companions, in the cream(y) sauce. in our case, the sweet with them was pea-capped, 8 minuscule pieces cooked to be difficult. not even al dente. the cups were obviously sown on the finished butter sauce. the meatballs had seen tiny amounts of spicy...

one of the best grilled fish fillets I had last. I had a zander I don't even know how to translate in English. it is a sweet water predator with excellent meat. the chef of schafer makes the skin so crispy and the...Fleish so tender it is great. the place is a bit expensive, but every time worth it.

Freitag, 20.30h: Beim Betreten des Lokals werden wir darauf hingewiesen, dass das Lokal gleich schließt und die Küche bereits geschlossen ist. Als wir um 22.05h wieder am Lokal vorbeikommen, werden noch Gäste bewirtet.Was war das denn?!

beautiful meal in a relaxing atmosphere. service was very good and helped with translation. all meals well prepared and tasty, as seen from the clean plates back into the kitchen.
