Scheffelhof - Table reservation

After we have just finished a tour through the Maulbronn Monastery, where we learned about the Swabian maul bags or little God cheese, we have been looking for some who are trying. the legendary says that, although the chistercian orders were forbidden to eat meat, at a point some chop meat was delivered to the closter and feared wasted, the cook mixed it with greens and seasoned and fill pasta bags with. the first restaurant we chose made them. they were served in warm broth and the dish we enjoyed in the scheffelhof was delicious. the gracious owner told us that they were the recipe of his mother. the restaurant was very clean, service excellent and we felt happy to have found this charmin...
