A wonderful dinner at Bottmingen Castle, 1 Michelin star, a very beautiful establishment. With a pretty outdoor terrace overlooking the gardens in the shade of the trees. Very professional welcome and smiling service, and the cuisine is certainly one of the best restaurants in Switzerland. Thank you for this excellent time, I recommend this establishment. What a fantastic looking castle/house/chateau. WHatever you call it, in the winter evenings it looks very impressive, with the wonderful lights. Walk across the wooden bridge and you enter a small court yard, off which is the entry hall. The Stenier family are very welcoming and the food is very tasty and quite reasonably priced for such an extravagant lokking place. The deserts are also a lot of fun.
Absolutely wonderful meal. The wait staff are charming and attentive. We came as a farewell dinner for the end of our Basel trip and couldn't have been happier. We will definitely return.
Amazing environment, great food and service. Recommended place for romantic celebrations.
