"Solid schnitzel and an interesting collection of wines. Salad bar was above average. Menu is quite limited due to short staff. Worth trying!"

Whether you live at the hotel or just visit, all can access the great restaurant. Food of very high quallity, variety of dishes worth trying, followed by some of the best wines from the region and German drafted beers. The view from the restaurant over...the forrest is beautiful and quiet. The staff is professionel and very supportive to make your visit great. Prices are absolute affordable and competitive with the rest of restaurants in Landstuhl. After a great dinner, you can in two minutes take a walk up to the historic Burg Nanstein and enjoy the view over the entire valley. Enjoy a good meal, you wont be disappointed.

I was a bit worried about eating here my first night in Landstuhl after seeing a very limited menu in the elevator on the way to my room. However, the menu at the restaurant is a lot more extensive that what was portrayed. I went...with the Saumagen sausage, which I was told is the German equivalent to Scottish Haggis. Again, I don\'t ask what is in it; I just know that I like it. For the appetizer I went with the goulash, which was not quite Hungarian, but it was one of the better goulashes I have had thus far in Germany. Top this all off with a couple liter Hefeweizen and alles güt.

We ate here for a majority of our dinners during our week long stay at the Schloss Hotel. Conveniently located on the first floor, the prices are reasonable and the food was good. It beats driving to town during the dark winter nights to find...food. I think we tried all the entree items on the menu. Personally, I liked their salad entree,

I\'ve eaten at this most AWESOME Schlosscafé on off for several years. The selection and QUALITY of the food is OUTSTANDING. The German Bier (Beer) is very refreshing. Most of all....the SERVICE is what I enjoy the most. The people working there are MAGNIFICENT...and make the whole dining experience SUPERB!! Highly recommended!!
