Dinner for two on a Sunday evening in December. Worked at 19:30, but the service was fast and polite. I was offered an English menu because my German sucks clearly. I ordered the wild boar with hazelnut late zle my girlfriend had the Venison and knödel dish (both main thing 18ea). I would rate the late as the best I've eaten somewhere, and I've eaten a lot. Both meats were boiled hard, and the sauces were well tuned. Followed with cream brûlée and it was not disappointed. All in all, one of the best German / Swabian restaurant where I was. It is worth going out the way to dinner, even if you don't stay in town.
was excellent for the goose menu before Christmas and the meeting, the cabbage, the dumplings were excellent. Lots of food on the plate. excellent taste and good wine. friendly service and beautiful interior. Everything you need for a good evening!
I'm always in this restaurant when I'm in Stuttgart and the food is always very good. I like traditional food, and here I really find the Swabian specialities. They also offer a wide and interesting selection of spirits.
The food is good, but the service not particularly friendly and exceptionally slow. Once wehav waited fot 50 minutes for a daily lunch menu! If you got time, its OK.
