I didn't think it necessary to reserve a seat for a babywho does not eat restaurant food. The restaurant was not full with many empty seats but we were denied seating because of the need of a highchair. It was 5:15 pm. The staff informed us we that they could not accommodate us after they seated us. They disappeared for 10 minutes leaving us wondering if they would make an accommodation as the table was not filled. I think they expected us to leave the baby somewhere else while we had dinner. They could have suggested we move to the outdoor tent that required no reservations. Atmosphere is quite nice, live music and servers are dressed in German attire to really make you feel you’re at an authentic German restaurant. Live music is also at the perfect noise level, not blaring loud, so you can easily have a casual conversation with everyone at your table regardless of where you’re sitting. Food was also very good and portions are hearty. Overall, would return again.
The food was good as was to be expected for Octoberfest. The server was great and very friendly. The prices were a bit high but this is why we only come here maybe once a year. If the prices were a bit lower we would definitely go more often as it is very close by. Though there are other German restaurants in the surrounding vicinity that are more reasonably priced.
The food was spot on, traditional German food cooked to perfection! The atmosphere is adorable, we will definitely be going back and often! Our server was great, the restaurant was very busy due to the fact it's Oktoberfest time but he handled it wonderfully. They had entertainment as well and he was great, got the patrons involved as well. Great beer menu too!

This is a lively noisy beer hall experience. Reservations are a must and you'll probably have a short wait to be seated anyway. Don't worry the ambiance will entertain you during the wait. Service is excellent with the staff constantly on the move The Menu offers a good selection of Apps and Entres and a wide selection of Beers. Definitely a must try place.
My 86 year old Dad and I, 61 years, have been visiting German Restaurants in the midwest. We thoroughly enjoed the experience at Schnitzel Platz. Food was plentiful and very tasty. Ambiance was enjoysble, inclding live entertainment by the accordion singer, which was not loud and was entertaining. We'll be back!
Being in the Oktoberfest season, the food was below average. The schnitzel was very dry and the gravy salty. No bread served with the soup no water given as arrived the pork chop as dry. All in all not very satisfying for the price point. Schnitzel platz needs to improve!
Lively atmosphere, excellent server (Coru). fun evening. The food was plentiful, just a bit bland for our taste. Excellent appetizers, good choice of beverages. Our party of 9 really enjoyed the evening.

The Schnitzel Platz has great German food that's hard to beat. I love going there. The annual Oktoberfest that the restaurant sponsors is also terrific. I will definitely keep going back.
We had 8:00 reservations didn't get seated until 8:30. We did get a booth like I requested but the kitchen was very backed up so we didn't get our food until almost 10:00p.m.
