On the recommendation of a local friend we went to eat there on 03.09.2020 and were very enthusiastic. The owners and the associated staff are very friendly and entertaining with you are very interesting and fun. The ambience is just as you can expect from a small restaurant in the old town and thus completely ok. The selection of drinks and dishes is very extensive and the price/performance ratio is absolutely mad. I did not know what a seasonal carving is offered. If you visit the Schnitzelhaus for the first time, you should read the menu carefully, because what you could order would hit you. The portions are more than sufficient and very tasty. The position is perfect. You have a great view and yet it is quite quiet. The food was great. Very tasty, super for the eye, fair price and you get more than enough. The rest of us were packed. The carving is like pizza, you should definitely try. Sounds funny, it tastes brilliant. The summery scorls have also tasted very well. Our personal highlight, however, is the Lord of the House. We haven't had such a good conversation for a long time. The restaurant is a highly recommended small family business. If we happen to be back in Meißen, we'll be back.
This cozy restaurant in the Meißner Altstadt is definitely worth a visit. The food is fresh and tastes great. The shares are very plentiful, the price is correct and yet the quality is not to exceed. The owner and the services are super friendly and polite. At 2:00 there are lunches that are really worth it. We can only recommend the carving house and come back in any case.
Very delicious food and friendly service. The selection of carving variations is huge. Whatever is great is that you can choose what meat you want. We took our carvings at an additional price with veal. The carvings were super delicate and have a lot of taste. The child portions were also very lush and good for the price. Clear recommendation. But definitely reserve.

Were spontaneously present for carving and what to say, perfect carving. Soft and delicate, very tasty. Ordinary hunger is advantageous because the regular carvings have 500 grams of meat. The warm kind of host completes the great impression of the family-run company! We're coming back.
Price performance is absolutely right!!! Super nice and fun operation and chef.... But be careful... you should be hungry. Schnitzel like mothers, not just fried.
