Ein relativ ungepflegter Balkon mit der Weihnachtsdeko im Frühling, passt nicht ganz zum Erscheinungsbild, dennoch aber mit einem tollen Ausblick auf die Berchtesgadener Alpen.Der Kaffee beim Frühstücksbuffet ist viel zu stark, aber das ist ja bekanntlich Geschmackssache :)눇Unser 3-Bett-Zimmer, die Nr.11 war riesig. Es hatte ein großes Bad, mit ebenso großer Badewanne plus Duschfunktion und schien neu renoviert.Im Schlafzimmer war ein heutzutage gängiger Flachbildfernseher, 3 Betten mit neuwertigen Matratzen, das Doppelbett bestand aus einzelnen Matratzen, die Möbel schienen auch neu zu sein.Es gab sogar einen Flur im Zimmer.Wir hatten nur das Frühstück gebucht, aber dazu gibt es nicht viel...
This restaurant is across the road from the tourist centre so we stopped in for an early lunch before our Eagles Nest tour back in September. We were a little concerned at first as it was almost empty and a bit run-down on the outside, but it turned out to be a good choice. The staff don't speak much English, but there is an English menu - and it was a good opportunity to try out my rudimentary German. We opted for the one vegetarian choice on the menu - a tortellini which was fresh and really tasty. If you're in a hurry it's worth noting that the service was a little slow, but we were there before midday so figured the early hour may've played a role in that. We weren't in danger of missing...
Located conveniently just up the street from the central train station, this is a small little restaurant attached to a small hotel. Decor is dated Bavarian kitsch and the staff has limited English. However, they have English menus with a few vegetarian choices. The drink service was prompt, and entrees arrived before the end of that first beer. Meat dishes included venison and pork dishes handled well with substantial sides including potato salads and kraut. A salmon dish was good too. If one likes leberkase, it was fresh tasting. I considered the prices quite reasonable given the size and simplicity of the regional fare.
Das Restaurant bzw. die Gaststätte ist eine Katastrophe! Die „Grillhaxe“ erinnerte mehr an ein gebräuntes Eisbein. Als Reaktion auf unsere Beanstandung hat der Koch sich geweigert, eine andere Bestellung von uns entgegen zu nehmen. Als wir nach der Chefin gefragt haben, hat sich zunächst niemand mehr blicken lassen. Nachdem wir die Chefin aufgestöbert hatten, wurde sie extrem pampig und hat uns aus dem Lokal geworfen. So eine Frechheit haben wir noch nie erlebt. Den „Schwabenwirt“ kann man nur meiden! Der Kellner war trotzdem sehr freundlich.

letztes Zimmer bekommen, trotzdem schön, zwar kein Doppelbett aber trotzdem Zweibettzimmer, großes Bad, Check-In war ein bisschen mühsam, da einige Chinesen und andere englisch sprechende Gäste da waren und anscheinend nur 1 Dame englisch spricht, Frühstück war reichhaltig und sehr gut, beim Gasthof ist auch ein wunderschöner Biergarten dabei, leider war die Bedienung sehr schlecht, Essen aber sehr gut
Had two meals here - the food was freshly prepared and you could feel the fresh aroma & flavour of herbs in the meal. There are about 4 options for vegetarians. the service is little slow though as staff takes time to attend you. The location is good - right across the main station.
Die Bedienungen konnten überhaupt nicht grüßen. Nach 10 Minuten warten kamen dann auch endlich die Speisekarten. Nach weiteren 15 Minuten warten sind wir gegangen, weil niemand unsere Bestellung aufnehmen wollte. Obwohl es nicht voll war. Service geht anders.
Dobra bawarska kuchnia. Miła i szybka obsługa. Mimo późnego przyjścia do restauracji (tuż przed jej zamknięciem), zostaliśmy bez problemu obsłużeni. Wszystko było smaczne. Rano śniadanie także było bardzo dobre, z bardzo dużym wyborem różnych produktów.

we had a wonderful meal of well prepared food. the rösti and the nice were particularly delicious. the service level was very high and the staff was sweet and attentive. great recommended!
