We found this fish and chip shop by accident when we were doing supermarket shopping whilst on holidays. The fish and chips were brilliant and good size serving when you are feeding a family of six. Only a short wait even though they were busy.

Have had barramundi and chips here multiple times over the last couple of years, always excellent Friendly staff and not over priced. We stay each year at the Big 4 Crystal Cascades Caravan Park which is only 5 mins away.
its worth it just to hear their accents as they are very broad Scotts. there is a very good range of fried food and its all cooked to perfection and not greasy. the home made potato cakes are special old style.
We love this relatively new place and are regulars. The battered spanish mackerel is our regular order, w chips. Sometimes the chips are the scrappy end bits, so they need to work on that. Friendly service! Book a table now
The chips are delicious. The battered gosh was decent, but the grey mackerel was a bit watery in taste. Overall, this is likely one of the top fish and chip options in Cairns.
We love Scottie's Fish and Chips for an easy, delicious takeout. The fish is always well cooked, the chips are proper chips and the mushy peas are proper English mushy peas!
