Let me tell you I've never been so torn about leaving a review before! On one hand the food and service was so amazing I want to shout from the rooftops BUT I also want to keep it a secret so it doesn't get flooded with patrons and I can go back! I'm literally typing this review sitting on the side of the bed with my jeans pulled down to my ankles because I'm so full I was afraid my button was going full projectile at any moment! Love the quality of the food here! The brussel sprouts were cooked to be crispy and carmelized beautifully. The Scratch loco moco with pork adobo and sunny side egg made me feel nostalgic as a Filipino! The garlic rice was wasn't too overpowering. The pork was flavorful and not too heavy for brunch. Service at this restaurant was also great at answering any questions and fulfilling any special requests I had. I would definitely come back again next time I'm in Honolulu.
Let me start by stating that the food was delicious! Best grits I?ve had since living in Virginia. The smashed potatoes were so yummy and the Bruleed French toast was a mix of amazing flavors and the presentation was great. Now for the not so great. The French toast was served with syrup. When we entered and heard ?hi my babies? we had instant good energy that lasted throughout the entire visit! The food was absolutely amazing! We the French toast and chicken waffles. The food came out quickly and was flavorful! If you?re in the area or going definitely add this place on your ?to go? list.
I gave him a 1 because the restaurant was closed and the doors locked after taking our reservation. when we arrived there, a woman said in the windows: “closed, closed” and went away. we had heard so much of it, but no chance to eat there.
The food was great, especially the ribs and the fried deviled eggs. Everyone who works there is excellent and seems to love their job. We really appreciated Kent, he was wonderful and made us feel really welcome.
Food was excellent and hot when delivered to the table. Service could be better. Waitress did not check on us except for one time. The other waiter did check on us and refilled water once. Book a table now
the waiting period was only after check-in. also, while we were fed, a woman came and stood there for a long time. the first contact is incredibly important.
