Sebeta - Afrikanischer Genuss

We reserved a table for 4 ppl on a Saturday evening. Parking is hard to find but we got lucky and since it was the weekend we didn’t have to pay for a parking ticket. The service was kind but I doubt she spoke German,...she could take the order but instead of a big flask of honey wine she first brought a small one. Once another lady arrived we double checked our order: the Sebeta Plate for 4 ca 50€ and the 3 Starters one of each. The starters were amazingly good and fresh. So was the the plate and the delicious bread. For a meat lover there was too little meat and more vegetables but all was prepared perfectly. We’ll go again, especially because we saw that you can sit outside too :

I was greeted with a smile and seated immediately. The service was fast and efficient. The ambiance is different and lively. My white wine was okay, but overpriced. The sparkling water is served in bottles that are refilled from a tap...questionable cleanliness. My Sambusa appetizers...were delicious while my main course was disappointingly bland and swimming in oil.

Had a quiet dinner with good friends at this fine establishment. We all loved the gorgeous food, interesting drinks (Honey-wine and DjuDju Mango Beer), and the relaxed setting. Our kind waitress guided us in our choices and made us feel welcome as well as at...perfect ease. Will be back as often as I can manage,

The Ethiopian Restaurant where I see only women working gives a friendly view from Africa. They help to find the right food and drinks for you por example exotic beers. When you wait for the meal the staff answered friendly all of your questions.Try the...injera and you will feel like in Africa.

I like this restaurant very much. warm atmosphere. service very quiet and efficient. this is the best place to discover delicious Ethiopian food.
