I realised it was going to be different when we were handed children,s story books with the menus inside. We were visiting an older friend who has moved into this area to be closer to family. Other friends recommended this as a lunch place, and I am glad they did. I had Lamb cutlets in salad, and I was a bit worried that it would not be enough for me, but it was great. One of the best I have had in a long time. My wife had a chicken schnitzel which again tasted great. And our friend had a toasted Turkish bread Sandwich, again she really enjoyed. We also had a shared slice of cherry cheesecake and really good coffee. I can definitely recommend this for a brunch or lunch

A recent breakup is hard to deal with. Food and drink have always been a coping mechanism of mine and after an emotional morning I needed such a mechanism. Today I visited SDS for the first time and my whole day was lifted. Great service, delicious food (especially the blue cheese eggs and betroot cured salmon) and a small but perfect wine list. My brunch became a celebration of me and drinking wine before lunch was where it was at. The cake fridge was definitely an added bonus. If you are ever in the area, or not, make it your mission to eat/drink here.

We've been here a couple of times and will keep coming back. The blue cheese eggs are amazing, and the Spanish eggs too. I doubt I could find a dish that wasn't. The food is certainly a standout feature, but the cafe also has great staff and service - despite being VERY busy. The coffee is top notch, of course. We tried a "breakfast cocktail" - the **** Maria, and I was asking for the recipe after one sip.A cute quirk is the Little Golden Books used for menus, nice one! We'll be back - see you there!

When a restaurant has all day breakky, you just know it's going to be good!!I had the Gluttony breakfast, no doubt I would have eaten more given the chance. It was very well portioned, everything was cooked perfectly. The staff were also lovely, easy to chat to and helpful. If I wasn't moving overseas I would most certainly be back. Book a table now

Finished our take away coffee's and instantly wanted more!! Spot on soy latte, cap and hot chocolate! Staff very lovely. Unfortunately we didn't try the food but it looked amazing! Will be returning to try! Small dining space from what we could see but beautiful.

The food here is amazing! The menus are in kids books, but quite a range to choose from. I had the chicken caeser pide; very tasty! The atmosphere is pleasant, and the staff are great!

This cafe was recommended by a colleague who has shared many cafe and dish recommendations and recipes but he was so wrong about this place.
