I almost never write a bad review but this time I want to warn you: don't go there!On a Sunday evening we went for a stroll. Wanted to grab a bite so we took a table for two at Seebau. We thought it was a nice and idyllic scenery and the first half hour after ordering it was so. We thought our waitress didn't had her day because she was pretty rude to us but so... we wouldn't let our evening get spoiled by her. After 3/4 of an hour, still no food. We just ordered two main courses. We asked the waiter. "Forgot it..." the waitresses were smoking outside one cigarette after the other. 1 1/2 hour later: still no food! 1 hour and 50 minutes later... there it was... everything over cooked! Too sal...
This restaurant is tucked back in this village, so many locals know & frequent it. Great venison goulash with red cabbage and a semmel knodel, tender delicious deer and not 'gamey' tasting. I love to get this in this region...as it's not made like this in other parts of the world. My husband had a fantastic delicate smoked trout that was caught in the small lake that this restaurant is on. There's an outdoor patio in summer, the only challenge were the flies. It's a farming area. The prices are moderate and portions generous. Great wine & beer as well. On Wednesday night you may dance to a fun woman singing Karyoke type music and her son will join in with his accordian for tyroler music...go...
Je kunt hier goed eten voor een redelijke prijs. De ligging aan het meertje is leuk, maar biedt vooral meerwaarde als je buiten op het terras zit. Wij hebben bewust voor een plaatsje binnen gekozen, omdat we niet van insecten houden bij het eten.We hebben hier twee dagen achter elkaar gegeten. Op de eerste dag was het druk en moesten we bijna een uur wachten op het hoofdgerecht. Dat vonden we wel wat lang. Op de tweede dag waren we iets vroeger, was het minder druk en was het hoofdgerecht er al na een kwartier. Dus dat was meteen rechtgezet.Het personeel is overwegend vriendelijk.
De lokatie is super, maar we moesten ANDERHALF UUR wachten op ons eten. Toen we na 45 min vroegen waar het bleef zeiden ze dat ze de bestelling waren vergeten. Daarna duurde het alsnog 45 min..... De bediening was zeer onpersoonlijk en de kwaliteit van het eten was niet best.
