Went for a birthday lunch with the family. The ambience is scenic, the view over the Goitzsche gorgeous. Service and bathrooms were good. One demerit for the kitchen. My grandparents and me each ordered dishes which sounded really tasty and elaborated on the menu, but to our surprise turned out to be merely some kind of up-scaled burgers. We thought this was not clearly laid out and felt a bit disappointed. Ketchup and mayo being served in those little plastic bags also lowered class a bit. Overall a good experience, with the caveat regarding the dishes being that price should be matched by presentation.
This is not just a great Italian Restaurant, but has the following: The most wonderful location right on the Waterfront; A large beach area with loungers, deck chairs and many toys for children of all ages, an original Almhütte (Alpine Wooden Lodge) with live music and Austrian Beer, an amazing Lake Cruiser which you can hire with food and drink. The owners and staff were very friendly and we can't recommend this place enough. Well worth the drive from Leipzig if you are visiting the area.
Great place with lovely view over the lake. Been here many times as I think it is currently one of the best in Bitterfeld. You can have a business dinner here with a surprisingly nice view after seeing chemical plants all day. Menu changes regularly, okay wines served. Possibility to sit outside in the summer. Just outside of the village of Bitterfeld, good 30minute walk along the lake, but enough parking opportunities too.
This is a brand new restaurant with plenty of things to discover. Very trendy place. When this was opened-someone had an idea. A great one. Food is delicious and service is attentive. Prize wise it is probably the highest prized restaurant in the area but its great. for special occasion they offer a private room upstairs with balcony with an awesome view over the harbour of the town.
