Some restaurants really pride themselves on quality of dining experience, quality of service, and of course, surroundings. Seerose rests its laurels entirely on the VIEW of the lake...and from there, it goes downwards to average, at best. The food is good; we had dessert. We arrived at 3:30 for coffee and cake. We were shown to an outdoor table, well protected from the hot sun. Right away, we were told that we must leave by 5:00 pm as the outdoor patio area was fully booked and they needed to have the table available for their dinner patrons. The waiter arrived for our order within about five minutes good. Within a few minutes, our desserts arrived..but coffee only for one and not the others...

Good place to grab sth for lunch/diner. Food average but ok. A bit too salty, steak was ordered as rare but received medium; fish too salty. Good choice of local alcohols.

Really nice place. Unfortunately, we came at 9 during a busy summer days. The kitchen refused to cook for us. This is how you lose your customers. :
