After arriving in Holzöster, we 7 adults wanted to end the evening with dinner and a cozy get together. When we entered the restaurant, which by the way seemed empty, the boss came up to us and asked if we had made a reservation. When we said no, he said very rudely: there is nothing without a reservation and I don 't do anything anyway because of 6 7 people . That was to put it mildly a clean eviction. Obviously the Seewirt doesn 't need to serve casual customers, the restaurant was definitely not full! What really annoyed me was the extremely rude tone no explanation, no apologies. We went for a family birthday party for lunch. The announcements during the reservation by email were already very clearly formulated. We have to be there by 12:15 p.m. at the latest, there can only be one bill, orders for the kitchen can only be placed by 1:30 p.m. at the latest. Unfortunately, it was then on site in the same tone. The boss was very unfriendly in the service and obviously annoyed. The second waiter was very careful and made up for it a bit. The food was ok but nothing special and took over 1 hour to arrive. The ambience in the guest garden is very nice, but we didn't feel welcome.
Es steckt sehr viel Liebe und Können in den Speisen und die Zimmer sind Top in Ordnung. Der Garten ist schön angelegt und der Badeplatz sehr nett. Das Wirtsehepaar ist wirklich nett, und hat einen super Überblick. Ich kann es empfehen. Es gibt auch einen kleinen Spielraum für Kinder und die Nähe zum See ist natürlich Super. Wir waren für zwei Nächte im Hotel. Super freundliche Gastgeber und ein fantastisches Frühstück. Tolles Essen im Restaurant und ein zum Hotel gehörender Badestrand.
