Went up to Semmering from Vienna for a day trip to see the snow, and hopefully do a cable ride, but it was closed because of poor visibility .... so instead we went in here for a gluhwein and a bite to eat, and it was delicious.... so quaint, with the views of the snowy mountain as the backdrop, and tucked into the mountain, it is like a picture postcard, I loved it here!
This restaurant is located in the centre of Semmering, right on the ski slopes.They serve excellent traiditional austrian food and Murauer beer from tap.The staff was really friendly and speak perfect english, the place looks really nice and traditional.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is very warm. Beautiful and tasteful decoration everywhere. Elegant and polite serving. The waiter was professional and attentive. The dishes were great. Thanks for the experience. We recommend it everybody.
For us, the most authentic place in town. Very nice staff, fine food and super environment. If we go there, we'll definitely stop there. Highly recommended.
