Went on a Saturday night and had a reservation. Not too crowded. There are two high top tables and three regular tables inside along with seats at the sushi bar. We took our time ordering so not rushed, but our servers were not very attentive as we had to ask to get more tea (those cups are small) once and they never came back again. We ordered sushi primarily and it was just okay. Had to ask for wasabi and ginger and it took at least 20 mins to arrive at the table. Perhaps we caught them on an off night but I can’t recommend a visit unfortunately.
Got the fish tacos, great balls of fire roll, mentaiko spaghetti, omakase nigiri and the Hokkaido cheesecake. The tacos and spaghetti were delicious and super unique and I would go back for those. The sushi was sadly disappointing. $52 for 7 pieces andalthough they weren't bad, outside of the chuutoro and the hamachi, the other pieces were mediocre. I also echo another reviewerin saying that some of the pieces were way over wasabied. I would definitely go back to try more of their non-sushi dishes.
Excellent service. Tasty food for the most part. Fish taco and tempura were great crispy and tasty. The baby steam scallops and the fish roe sauce in Mentaiko spaghetti were amazing. Finished with delicious matcha and yuzu cheesecakes. Sashimi omakasehad interesting fish and pairing sauces. Hokkaido Uni was yummy and good value. Seaweed was a bit soggy unfortunately buteverything else was excellent.
Our all time favorites are fish tacos (used to be 3 per order but same price ???? , and the seafood risotto which are both very flavorful … as for the rest in the menu, you’re paying too much for the portions they serve. Overall, it was a good diningexperience, but way too over priced.

Top notch quality food at a fair price...service was excellent...staff was cordial, polite and attentive...facility was spotless and the ambiance was intimate... I've already recommended to my colleagues... Will definitely return.
The food and service at this restaurant are excellent. This may be the best authentic Japanese food you can get at this price point.
