I visited here a few weeks ago with friends having initially not been impressed with the service and food at the other Fumo in Birmingham. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I attended. I was seated to my table without fuss whilst I waited for my friends to arrive and I was introduced to Petr as our waiter. He was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and made several recommendations for us throughout that were all welcomed. When he finished his shift we were then looked after by his colleague (whose name I forgot to get) but he was just as helpful, professional and friendly. I was impressed with the customer service throughout and the food was 10/10 and I even complimented the manage...
When dining at this restaurant, you don't just have a meal, you embark on a fantastic gastronomic journey. The menu offers a variety of well-balanced options. The food was excellent in quality, quantity, and presentation. The staff is professional, courteous, and efficient. Our server, Joanna, thoroughly explained the ordering process and timing of the meal service. The overall service was excellent. I highly recommend dining here for a top-notch experience.
When people claim they enjoyed an incredible meal in the middle of a department store, it doesn't quite capture this place's essence. The food is fantastic, and the staff are polite, well-presented, and very helpful. Be sure to order a variety of dishes to truly savor the experience; it's not a one-dish-per-person kind of place. If you find yourself near the Bullring or surrounding area, you must visit at least once - you won't regret it.
This is the better of the 2 Fumo's in Birmingham in my opinion. Due mainly to the light and feeling of more space. Expect brilliant service and great food. Francesca behind the bar was so friendly and went above and beyond in my request for 1 large ice cube in a rusty nail. We will definately return.

Located on the top floor of Selfridge's with views overlooking the Bullring, this restaurant doesn't feel like you're dining in a department store. Although allergens are not displayed on the menu, the attentive staff are knowledgeable about gluten-free options.
Really exceeded my expectations. Lively little Italian restaurant with affordable prices and great food. The servers were really nice and accommodating and I would definitely go back again.
