We are regular customers at this restaurant and decided to call in our order. We were initially told there would be an hour wait, but after almost two hours passed, we called to inquire about the status of our order. The person on the phone seemed to have trouble understanding us and the situation was very confusing. Ultimately, we decided to cancel our order as we were unsure if it had even been taken in the first place. We are left feeling unsure about what is going on with the restaurant.
After using this Chinese takeout restaurant for four years, we called in for a Saturday night meal and were surprised to learn they no longer accepted cards, only cash. I was disappointed by the lack of trust shown to loyal customers. Since I don't usually keep large amounts of cash at home, having to go to the ATM would defeat the purpose of getting takeout. Thankfully, we saved £60 tonight and will likely save over £600 this year if they continue with this policy.
Summer Palace was a hour and half wait so I headed to Selsey Chinese Takeaway, what a mistake! Crabmeat &sweetcorn soup had to be thrown away, it looked like wallpaper paste! And taste was awful. Main was not much better, but I struggled through to justify part of my £10 spend. Previous owners never had a problem. I will not make the same mistake next time and wait the hour and half!
My wife and I visited Selsey and saw this establishment. When it was open for business we ordered sweet and sour chicken and chips, I had house special chow mein and special fried rice. Both meals were excellent and when we come back again will make beeline for another Chinese takeaway Book a table now
The food at this restaurant was delicious and served piping hot, making it one of the best Chinese meals I've ever had. The delivery was quick and the customer service was excellent.
Absolutely amazing food but woman on the end of the telephone does not tell you that its four pounds delivery charge so take that into account when you are Ordering your food
Decided at the last minute to order from here and were pleased with the quality and quantity of food provided. Delivery was efficient and prompt. All very pleasing
I have visited this place twice and on both occasions ended up with a bad belly , friendly enough staff and looks clean but I would avoid. Book a table now
