The food was disappointing, earning only two stars for taste and quality; it simply didn't meet my expectations. The service was decent, so I gave it three stars—it was adequate but lacked the attentiveness one might hope for. However, the atmosphere stood out positively with four stars; it was inviting and made for a pleasant dining environment. Overall, while the ambiance was enjoyable, the food and service need improvement.
We've been coming here for years. You can sense this places picked up a few pizza skills from up north, and is one of the best NY style pizzas in the area. But If pizza isn't your thing we also enjoy the sandwiches and rich pasta meals. It's a great place for a family dinner, date, or casual meetup with friends. Service is always friendly and quick. Update: excellent calzone, one of the better new York style pizza in the Richmond. This place is a great place to take your New York buds when visiting, and they'll let you know in the first bite... Instantly, they will form a better opinion of RVA.
There’s a reason this restaurant has been bustling for 25 years: the food is fantastic, and the service is consistently excellent. They offer a wide selection of beer, and it’s likely the only place around where you can find nightingale flavors and colorful swirled soft serve! Plus, their appetizers are incredible. Given all the pandemic safety measures, I highly recommend this spot!
This is our third visit to this restaurant, and we have been consistently impressed with both the food and the service. The portion sizes are generous, the prices are reasonable, and the food is incredibly tasty. This will definitely be a place we frequent whenever we're in the area. Sergio’s is the best neighborhood Italian spot. Food is amazing, portions are generous, and customer service is top notch (and it’s family owned! We recently had a grub hub delivery issue which was in no way the restaurant’s fault, and they still gave us a gift card as a thanks for our patience. PS-the mozzarella sticks are life changing! The interior is very beautiful, and there's a great selection of items on the menu. Everything I tried was delicious. The server was friendly, and there are many TVs showing various programs.
