The Seven Wells is a country pub on the outskirts of the village of Etwall. It has a spacious and well set out off-road car park, and good variety of outside seating. Be aware though unless you've had your three Weetabix that morning, don't try and move the chairs, they are seriously weighty. The Seven Wells is a substantial sized pub that is set out primarily for dining, but there are areas to just have a drink. There are many nooks and crannies, and a variety of different types of seating, to make the Seven Wells slightly removed from the generic pub chain eateries. We have been to the Seven Wells pub at Etwall several times in a past and thought the food was ok and well-priced. We have returned to the pub after the latest referb and we were hugely disappointed. The staff were friendly and fast but the food was terrible overcooked and tasteless and the amount of food that we received was very small for the price. I would have recommended this pub in the past but now I cannot and I will say I will never ever go back here again, that's how bad the food was.
Been to the Seven Wells on several occasions and have always been very pleased with the wares and the level of service. It has been refurbished again at the start of 2011 even though it's not that old. It is quite well laid out now with lots of little nooks to sit and eat and dine in. The food menu is good and the portions are a plenty. A great place to sit outside in the better weather.
Come here a lot with my family always feel welcome. The staff work very hard as seems to be such a busy restaurant and yet they all still have a smile on there face. Always a great atmosphere and the food is top notch never had a bad meal and a great value menu. highly recommended this place if you haven't been before it's definitely worth the visit
