Our experience at this restaurant was highly unprofessional. Despite making a reservation 6 weeks in advance, we arrived on a Saturday night to find a sign stating that the restaurant was closed for renovations and would reopen shortly. It is disappointing that neither the restaurant nor OpenTable informed us about this beforehand.
The restaurant itself is beautiful and unique, but the dinner experience was only average. Despite its size, only two tables were filled when we visited, which may explain why it felt empty. While I didn't hate it, there are so many other amazing dining choices in Los Angeles that I don't anticipate returning anytime soon.
Food is too good!!! Everything is out of my expectation! We ordered shabushabu but they gave us 5 things for free!!! Appetizer+miso soup+spinach noodle+Valentine special rolls+dessert. All free!!! Beef is A5 Japanese best quality beef! Can't describe by words! Taste too good! This restaurant is really something.
The place is beautiful and truly unique. But when eating like dinner was just fine. I think we were 1 out of 2 tables that were even taken and this place is huge. Maybe that's why it was empty. I don't hate it, but with all the great places to eat in Los Angeles, I doubt I'll go back there soon! Book a table now
Wonderful meal, and the service and hospitality was great. Beautifully decorated and the atmosphere is perfect for either small groups or a larger gathering. I would thoroughly recommend SHAN Social House for anyone visiting Beverly Hills. <3
The food at this restaurant is top-notch and the service is exceptional! John, your meticulous care is truly appreciated. The shabu shabu combo and sashimi platter are both delightful. I will definitely be coming back again!
