Firstly, for those complaining about prices, you can find similar prices at other shawarma houses in Ottawa. Prices are adjusted due to inflation and increasing food costs. In my opinion, the prices are not bad, even though I earn just above minimum wage. Rating: 4.0/5 Secondly, the staff is friendly, as long as you are not annoying. Every time I have visited, they have shared jokes and laughter with me, even when they may be upset or sad. They always provide quality service and care about the customer. We are both frequent flyers when it comes to shawarma.First, you don't feel welcome with the numerous handwritten instructions starting with one to remove your dirty boots before walking in, then another to speak loud so the attendant can hear you. And while the owner may be worried about you dirtying his floors, you'll be sitting among the crates of pop and supplies in the front window. The choice of vegetables is limited and the quantity in the sandwich, very sparse. The garlic sauce is bland, tasteless. Just not good. Used to be great. Hadn't been in over a year as we moved away. But recently moved back. Will not be back. They seem very angry. We got a shawarma that was hard as a rock with little to no meat. And a salad of just leaves. Barely any meat or vegetables in it. Sad it has gone so far down hill.
We stopped for a shawarma recently and the food was great. It’s a family business, both the owner and his wife were working. They were both nice and welcoming and the food was almost like home made. Five stars Book a table now
The shawarma plate came with alot less then other Shawarma plates at other places and was to expensive for what I got and they microwaved the rice and who knows what else. I will not be going back.
