Restaurant dans un cadre très sympa avec vue sur mer. Vous êtes au cœur de la Vale Do Lobo...c'est moderne, épuré et chic. Pensez à réserver pour le soir. Le menu du midi est plus accessible que celui du soir. Bonne carte de poissons, y a des viandes aussi. Super carpaccio de thon ! Possibilité de réserver la veille le poisson que vous souhaitez vous voir préparer. Pour entrée + plat + dessert pour 2 avec vin comptez 110€. Les serveurs font l'effort de parler français. Points - : les serveurs sont agréables mais pas discrets quand ils se déplacent dans le restaurant ... Des arrêtes dans des filets de poissons levés : Pas normal pour un restaurant de ce standing.
Heel mooi verbouwd, super locatie met zeezicht. Maar als we binnen komen voor ontbijt is er stress bij de bediening omdat "iedereen op dezelfde tijd komt... " en de wachttijd loopt op tot 45 minuten... (voor een toast met jam of gebakken eitje...). Op onze vraag of we dan wel alvast koffie kunnen bestellen volgt een snauw dat ze het druk heeft. We zijn maar weg gegaan zonder te bestellen. Zonde van de mooie plek...
Nous avons mangé au Sandbanks et nous avons été satisfait. La vue sur mer rend l'endroit d'autant plus agréable. Le décor est plutôt simple mais plaisant.Les plats sont bons et plutôt copieux. Le personnel est accueillant et sympathique.Le seul bémol est que nous avons attendu nos assiettes pendant presque une heure. Sinon dans l'ensemble c'est assez bien.
Very disappointing experience. Had to send the squid back as inedible and a number of other issues ruined the night. In fairness the staff were accommodating but the whole evening was very underwhelming and I wouldn't rush to go back.Great views of the ocean though. Book a table now
We dined here yesterday lunch time and had a wonderful experience. The staff were helpful, the place was very clean (including the loos!) and the food was amazing... would definitely recommend the sesame tuna Asian salad. Can't wait for our next visit.
We had lunch twice at Sandbanks and enjoyed our meals. The food is good, service friendly! Be expected to book as it gets very busy. There aren't many options of restaurants at VDL during lunch time so it does get busy after 1:00pm.
What a great find...definite recommendation, service was excellent and the staff went above and beyond, thought it might be expensive as it was right by the beach but very reasonable...definitely going back!
Pour un diner ou déjeuner de poisson frais ou fruit de mer avec la mer au pied, c'est l'endroit idéal. Pas vraiment bon marché, mais un bon rapport qualité prix pour l'emplacement, la carte et le service. Book a table now
The views and position of Sandbanks in Vale do Lobo make it a great place. Fish was excellent, dessert which was not on the menu was outstanding. Staff were all lovely and made great wine suggestions.
