A fast tip for the staff ...... If someone has ordered and paid for a coffee - not you stop talking to the woman to talk to the windows, and working at the same time !!! Maybe a quiet Monday morning, but the speed of the service still determines the return of the customer's choice of shop and there is plenty of choice in Newtown
This review is for the Shenkin Espresso Bar in King St. Good coffee. Clearly very popular with locals. Grief Delicious tasty pastry (spinach and cheese triangle, eggplant and sweet chili scroll, bacon and egg triangle) Grief The next time will return to sweet pastries.

Three thirty items hit hard and we stayed in the heart of Erskineville, so I tried Shenkin since I had heard that she had a good reputation. Coffee was solid, the service very fast. Slices were also good. Book a table now
I have ordered ice caskets, and it tasted really diluted, unlike the one I came in Bogota, who was full of taste and immediately showed me up. I could not get a meal for unknown reasons either.
Stumbling on to Shenkin was fantastic looking for a great coffee to fill in 15 mins and boy I found it . Quick service and hot coffee with a smile ..What more could you ask for .
Disappointing, baked beans were not homemade, and it does not seem to be something else. Skenkin was best average and the staff did not really know what they did.
I've wanted to try visit the distinuished family of Shenkin - oh the stories I've heard of their velvety dips, the quivering, just done eggs in their Book a table now
I was intrigued to try Israeli food as I had never been to an Israeli restaurant before.
