Shepherd Neame The Crown

We visited the pub during the first cold snap of autumn and unfortunately, it was absolutely freezing inside. We couldn't even take off our outer clothing. The drinks and service were excellent, but the food was disappointing. The sausage sandwich was served on white bread with margarine instead of mustard, and it was barely edible. However, the chips were surprisingly delicious despite being cooked from frozen. On a brighter note, the pub is in a great location in Blackheath and has a fantastic outdoor seating area that would be perfect for summer.

Had such a lovely afternoon in The Crown. Nearly never went because of bad reviews. Glad I changed my mind. I had curry and chicken wings. Food was delicious and HUGE portions. None of us could finish our meals. Staff were so friendly

for Sunday dinner to the crispy. they were extremely busy, regardless of the fact that I had to stand up twice from my table to ask for service. had a blackbed that was extremely hard. will not go back

this is our local! What do you want me to say? eating is good and the beer is cold, beautiful atmosphere and always packed with good people! love it

decent pub-grub. about the only right pub in the village. reasonable prices. would increase the ton if they get rid of the fertilizers
