I've tried Shibuya before and it was OK. However, the other day I called the restaurant to ask about their take-out options (I didn't know they stopped doing take-out) and whoever answered the phone was extremely rude to me.Unfortunately, I will not return, as I value the respect a business has towards its customers. The sushi is not good enough for me to return despite their lack of good customer service. Luckily, we are in southern California, surrounded by plenty of amazing sushi restaurants WITH outstanding customer service and respect.
yep, can confirm that the other 5 star ratings are not sweating! this place is absolutely incredible. you sushi melts in the mouth and cuts like butter! I personally also love the narrow knit/tiny environment and how busy it is always! that can be long, but if they are in there, they are so high on their service super fast, courtesy and incredible quality for the price.
we drove over 2 hours, then waited about an hour to sit and it was totally worth it! best sushi experience I've ever had! the chefs there make literally works of art for them. amazing eating, amazing service and very cozy place also. do not hesitate from the long wait because eating is really so good! and the prices are reasonable 10/10
The BEST sushi. Fresh, fairly priced, great service. Get there 30 mins and put your name in so you can be in the first seating. If you go with more than 2 people expect to wait a bit if you’re not there early.
