Sho is a ridiculously cool establishment. The decor is modern, from floor to ceiling, and more importantly the Sushi is legit.Quality wise, Sho is certainly one of the better quality Sushi restaurants in Calgary; they put care into their creations and put effort into their plating. It won't take long until you're passed by a waiter/waitress and whispering around the table "Wow, what's that?".The seared dishes are done at table, and they're absolutely delicious. We've never left Sho hungry or disappointed. If you're looking to make an impression, definitely worth a sit. On a side note, the price can add up pretty quick, if you want to try a bunch of things in one sitting be prepared to spend...
Just a quick one.I have eaten at dozens and dozens of sushi restaurants in my time. From the tried and true 'all you can eat' types, to some higher aspiring joints. This place definitely falls into the latter.Slick decor, a loud holler from the chefs as you walk through the front door, efficient service (as you would expect), and decent presentation.Rare beef shavings with some kind of radish dice on top with dipping sauce on side - truly great. Tuna belly on hand-formed rice 'dollop' seared in front of you with a blowtorch, drizzled with some kind of coulis? (seared toro - #53 on menu i think) Worth a trip to CGY.Out of the city core, but would highly reccomend.
I am a regular visitor at Sho Sushi restaurant as it has the best sushi and sashimi that I have eaten anywhere in Calgary. The service is always excellent, the decor is clean and modern and the ambiance in the restaurant is always convivial and relaxed. Although it is not inexpensive, the cost of lunch or dinner at this restaurant is reasonable given the high quality of the food. I particularly recommend the Bento Box at lunch time and the complimentary frozen grapes that come at the end of any meal are a great way to finish an enjoyable meal.
The fish here is so good! It is always fresh and high quality. We are a big fan of the sashimi and tuna tataki, and there are a great variety of rolls too. I like that the rolls are not too heavy and don't have too much sauce on everything like some of the other sushi places in Calgary.. it seems a bit more authentic.

Fabulous from the moment we entered this popular establishment. As sushi virgins we were guided through the menu and feasted on a delicious variety of rolls and other delicacies. Fire Dragon roll was best with Sashimi close behind. Great service and lovely ambiance. Would definitely recommend this place!
We've been to Sho several times over the years. When entering, you are give a small tray with ginger, seaweed and nuts to snack on tol they take drink orders. Our food has always been really good. Smallish servings. I hate sushi, but love their deep fried prawns and teryiaki chicken.
This is a great restaurant, so clean and the service was very fast. The food was amazing, everything we ordered, different sushi and other dishes were so delicious. I love how they greet everyone that comes in. I love it here...

Great hip Sushi place with comfortable ambiance. Good assortment of reasonably priced Sushi and sashimi. Nice presentation. Good service. Love the frozen grapes.
Unique menu with rolls that you can't find at other places. Cool ambience and kind servers. It can get a bit pricey, but worth it.
