The last time I came here with my family was before the pandemic. This was one of our go-to sushi places and the food was very good then. Fast forward to now... I 'm not really sure what happened to Shoboo, but there 's so many areas that need a lot of improvement. The servers were friendly, but I felt that they were super disorganized. They were mixing up our orders (though to be fair, we were a large party split into two tables . However, the server could not even identify which sushi was which, and we got very confused in the end. The server even said that apparently the sushi chef likes to mix things up by making the sushi rolls look different, which made us even more confused. They told...
We ordered takeout: the Unagi Bowl, Hamachi Kama, and Tempura Udon, along with a California roll, which the staff said was included. I had to repeat my order several times over the phone because the lady seemed to have trouble processing it. When my husband went to pick up the order, the lady ran after him outside because they had forgotten the Unagi Bowl. Once we got home, we discovered that the California roll was also missing. I don't think we'll be coming back. The Hamachi Kama was a bit greasy, and my husband found the Unagi Bowl to be bland. Overall, the prices here are higher compared to other Japanese restaurants.
First time eating at this sushi place. First off, just want to say the customer service was good. Very friendly and kind. Unfortunately the sushi was not as expected. The rolls looked weird from the get go, but we decided to give it a shot. The baked roll tasted off. Almost like the fish was not fresh and had a sour taste to it. All 3 rolls did not look appetizing. There was some kind of fried fish or something on top that did not look or taste good. We were excited to try the sushi, so it was disappointing to have this experience at this location. Don't think we'll be coming back :
A fantastic sushi restaurant, but it depends on what you get. Creamy Seared Albacore Pepper Salmon AMAZING! They are expensive but the quality of the fish is worth it. The flavor was exceptional and very unique compared to other sushi places. Franky Roll Excellent. If you like lemon and salmon this is great. Good cuts of fish and flavor. Philadelphia Roll This had bad cuts of fish, with mostly fat and skin, with a disappointing texture and taste. Crunchy Roll Your standard Americanized roll. Good crab and shrimp. Mixed Tempura Shrimp was delightful, and the veggies were good.

I ordered the chicken teriyaki and the mixed tempura bento dinner, thinking you can't go wrong with these dishes. Unfortunately, the chicken was very dry, and the tempura was soggy. The pumpkin tempura was undercooked and tough. I also tried a simple avocado roll with less rice, but it ended up being packed with rice. At $8 for just six pieces, it felt overpriced. I'm not sure how this place has a 4-star rating, but I guess it’s because they offer a free California roll for Yelp check-ins. This was the worst sushi and bento experience I've ever had.
This is a fantastic little ramen and sushi restaurant. The service was outstanding, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The ramen was excellent, complete with fantastic add-ons. Plus, it came with four sushi rolls! Update: I returned for a second visit, and my husband loved it just as much!
My fish was still frozen when served. The rolls were falling apart before even touching it, all the fish was cut poorly. The yakisoba tastes like top ramen and has no spice or salt just bland. The food took forever to come out and there was only 2 tables.....
Great place for Happy Hour on Saturday. Garlic edamame was the perfect appetizer right amount of spiciness and flavor. Ordered the Yellowtail Lover Roll Baked Scalloped.

We came here for lunch, had 3 rolls. Very good as always. The service and chef Henry took care of us. We'll be back.
