"The food was decent overall, with the appetizers being the highlight of the meal. Unfortunately, the service was quite disappointing and the management seemed to lack direction. The hibachi experience was just okay. I found some of the sushi to be off in taste, so I chose not to eat it. However, the edamame and shrimp shumai were fantastic."

What happened next was quite frustrating. The hostess returned—no joke—25 minutes later, apologizing and saying she had forgotten to inform the servers that we were there. Despite her apologies, we waited an additional 20 minutes as they seemed to be stalling for another group to arrive. Once they finally did, we then waited another 15 minutes for them to place their orders and receive their appetizers. After an hour had passed, the chef finally came over to start preparing our food. Unfortunately, the food was the most bland I've ever tasted, aside from the excessive oil in the noodles. Most of the steak was inedible due to the fat and collagen, and the chicken was completely unseasoned. A...

The hibachi dinner was definitely worth the money. The food was delicious! I had the chicken and salmon, while the other two in my party opted for steak. The chef was exceptional. Our waitress was also fantastic—she brought us drink refills before we even ran out, and she promptly cleared away our empty plates. This was a wonderful experience since it was our first time here and we were celebrating my daughter's birthday. We'll definitely be returning!

After leaving Benihana due to a problem with our reservation, we decided to try Shogun, and it was a fantastic choice! The decor is stunning, the food was exceptional, and our server, Mickey, was wonderful. He was lively, incredibly funny, and had a great positive energy. Overall, it was a 5-star experience, and we will definitely be returning for family birthdays in the future.

My husband and I stopped for a quick meal after my surgery. I ordered the Volcano Roll and some onion soup. It was the best maki I’ve ever had, and I was really impressed by the way it was presented with fire. The service was excellent, the atmosphere was lovely, and the food was outstanding. We live in Maple Grove, but I’d definitely make the drive just for this roll! <3
