The food was good but they put up the prices on the final bill that was different to the menu prices We asked for the 10.95 menú for popadoms any starter and any main and any rice or Nan bread They said it not available even though it was on the menu and takeaway menu. As we walked in it said on a board 30% off food today but again that wasn't available he did give us a small discount as we complained about putting the prices up but were different on the menu. Shame really food was good and it could do with a complete refurb but the actitude of the owner was scandolous. Never go back again.
I ordered takeout on a Saturday night and should have trusted my instincts when I saw that the restaurant was empty, which seemed odd. The food was mediocre and had very little chicken - in fact, the portion sizes were incredibly small. I'm just visiting the area, but the most frustrating part of the whole experience was being overcharged by £8.20. My bill should have been £37.00, but it was £45.60. I now see that others have also been overcharged based on previous reviews. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience and left a negative impression.
I typically have decent takeout from this restaurant, but yesterday's meal was disappointing. There was very little chicken in my curry, more like shredded bits from a carcass than a proper bhuna. The rice was crunchy and the naan was too thick, more like a pita bread. My dining companion had an okay curry, but it wasn't what he ordered. We wasted £35 on this meal. Additionally, I was ill all night and still feeling unwell today. The takeaway service was subpar.
I ordered and paid in advance on Just Eat. After waiting for over an hour, our order was suddenly cancelled with no explanation or promise of a refund. An hour later and I am still waiting for my refund. What a complete disappointment. Even their delivery prices are higher than what was advertised. Initial impression is a very run down restaurant. Very poor selection of non alcoholic drinks. Almost paid for drinks and left. However the food was excellent and we would return so we are glad we stayed. Five stars for food. Revisited later in the week. Restaurant empty. Food still excellent.
