The food at Siamsa Irish Pub was decent, but the service was seriously lacking. We came to celebrate a birthday and ended up waiting nearly 35 minutes just to get our drinks. We tried to find our waiter twice, but no one was around except the bartender, who was already overwhelmed. Our appetizers arrived before our drinks, and it took another half hour before we could even place our dinner orders, which put us behind schedule for our next destination. We asked to have everything boxed up to go so we wouldn’t have to chase down staff later. After finishing our appetizers, we waited another 40 minutes for our food. Unfortunately, the Shepherd's Pie was a major letdown. The ground beef was dry and lacked any moisture or flavor, with no peas or carrots—just overcooked meat. The mashed potato topping was bland and tasteless. I expected better since pubs usually do Shepherd's Pie well, but this was far from it. The pub’s interior is lovely, perfectly capturing the Irish pub vibe—definitely an A for ambiance. However, with only a few customers present, there’s no excuse for such a poorly prepared dish. The food at Siamsa Irish Pub was excellent; the flavors and presentation wonderful! My husband and I were recently in Ireland and Siamsa replicated the Irish Pub look and experience well. Our server was friendly and took great care of us. We highly recommend Siamsa for visitors to the Pocono Mountain region and for locals.
Welcoming bartender and delicious food clean restaurant and restrooms. Pot Roast sandwich always delicious. Cook even brought out Au jus to dip sandwich. Awesome experience. Highly recommended.

Pot roast was amazng just like moms. Drinks were grrat. Waitress annoyed we walked in and had t wait I'm on us. Other wise a great vibe.
