I planned this reservation weeks in advance for a special weekend for my husband, parents and in-laws. We were very disappointed. We were the only people in the restaurant on Saturday night so it was nice and quiet in the restaurant. But unfortunately our server was abrupt and aloof and the food was just okay. When we asked for bread, she said “oh we usually don’t bread at this time of night, maybe one piece. Who wants it?” She was very awkward and when ordering things, she seemed confused and gave off a weird vibe. We spent over $450 and agreed it was not worth it.
I had high hopes for this restaurant, but the food was quite disappointing. The ambiance and service were satisfactory, but unfortunately, the food didn't live up to expectations. My steak sandwich was small and overcooked, and it tasted like it had been made yesterday and simply reheated. I didn't find it worthwhile to send it back since it was just a tiny three-bite sandwich, and I had already taken a bite to try it.
We cannot recommend Sidecar more highly. Beautiful atmosphere, the kindest and most attentive waiters in all of New York. And all our food was delicious! Thank you so much for having us. We will be back. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
We loved our experience at PJs sidecar. It’s an adorable place, the food was fantastic and the service was impeccable. I had the Pan seared scallops and my husband had the fillet and Brussel sprouts.

I always enjoy dining here. My only suggestion would be to expand the menu or consider offering daily specials.

Lobster salad was really old frozen and reheated yucky lobster. Don’t order.
