we found this cozy and busy apple wine bar randomly at the first night in oviedo, as it was only a few minutes walk from our hotel. there are many restaurants and caffes on the calle galicia, but we were pleased to find these typical...small sidreria that serves a lot of tapas and visited by local people. my partner speaks Spanish so that speech was not a problem because our waiter did not speak English, although we were unfamiliar with some of the names of traditional Asturiana dishes. However, we were able to translate most of them for our return trip in a later night, as the menu was only in Spanish quite naturally in a predominantly local bar. it was our first encounter with the traditio...
it was nice to have some tapas and sidra for lunch. the atmosphere of el boulevard de la sidra was in order, but there were many tourist and it was a bit too touristy. on the other side, this bar was full of natives and we could enjoy the local taste in a very local atmosphere, although it is only a few minutes away from the historic center. recommended for people who like local taste.
